Aw, very nice. =J Love their expressions. Proportions may be a touch off, though.
Author's Response: Yes, porportions are difficult for me. My more recent sketches are greatly improved; I haven't yet had time to color them yet.

I actually like it, even though the proportions and also the perspective might not always be perfect. It's got its very own style. Good job.
Author's Response: Thanks. I do have problems with proportions. I was given a neat book; hopefully, I'll be able to incorporate some of those techniques in my future drawing attempts.

I'm so impressed! Your shading and your coloring is getting much better - there's much less white. It looks to me like you use photoshop to color it after you hand draw and scan. I don't know if you use layers at all, but if you want some tips on coloring them digitally (I do all digital work) feel free to send me a message and if you're not familiar with working with layers, I can help get you started on it. If you are familiar, my suggestion is make your sketch the bottom later, on a second layer, trace over your sketch so you have a transparent outline, then add a third blank layer between them, and use that for coloring. WHen I use layers, I use a different layer for each color. Then I can erase around the color until it lines up with the outline. I use a final layer to do all the shading, and I love the burn and dodge tool. Again, I'm really impressed with how well this is looking, but if you'd like to do away with the grey lines and replace them with black lines, the layers trick will work. :) Keep drawing! I love your stuff!
Author's Response: Ren, your reviews always make me smile. Thank you for taking the time to comment and provide constructive criticism. You make me feel that there's hope for me yet!
As far as my technique goes, I do my sketching in pencil and then do all the coloring in Photoshop. I've only recently began toying with layers; one for each color. Am I to use the pen tool to trace the sketch? I find it hard to use. I suppose, practice makes perfect. As a new artist, I'm encouraged by thoughtful reviews — especially yours. Thanks again! :D

I know the wolves are supposed to be big, but Sam is...really big. Huge. Still, nice job. You did well on Emily and her dress - it looks very flowy and seems to fit her well.
Author's Response: I agree; He's huge! I can't recall anywhere in canon that says how tall Sam is. As a wolf, he stands taller than Jake. Human Jake is 6'7". In my mind, Emily is about Bella's height - 5'4". This height difference is very similar to Jasper and Alice, which makes me afraid to attempt drawing them! :D
